JAM 2024: IIT Madras releases toppers’ list | Education News

HOURS 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras has released the toppers’ list of the Joint Admissions Test (JAM) 2024. The candidates who appeared for the examination can check the toppers’ list and cut-off at the official website of JAM — jam.iitm.ac.in.

The JAM 2024 website also holds the master answer key and the scorecards.

IIT JAM 2024: Cut-off

As per the official notice, the Biotechnology (BT) cut-off is 44.46 for the general category (40.01 for OBC-NCL / EWS, and 22.23 for SC / ST / PwD).

Similarly, the cut-off for Chemistry is 25.38 for the general category, 22.84 for OBC-NCL / EWS, and 12.69 for SC / ST / PwD). The Economics cut-off is 24.64 for the general category, 22.17 for OBC-NCL / EWS, and 12.32 for SC / ST / PwD).

Mathematics cut-off for general category is 11.22, 10.09 for OBC-NCL / EWS, and 5.61 for SC / ST / PwD). For Mathematical Statistics, the general cut-off is 23.03, 20.72 for OBC-NCL / EWS, and 11.51 for SC / ST / PwD).

Festive offers

For Geology, general cut-off is 33.09, 29.78 for OBC-NCL / EWS, 16.54 for SC / ST / PwD). 19.63 is the general category cut-off for Physics, 17.66 for OBC-NCL / EWS and 9.81 for SC / ST / PwD).

IIT JAM 2024: Toppers list

In the field of Biotechnology (BT), Siddhant Bhardwaj scored the top rank with 90 raw marks. Saurabh Kumar excelled in Chemistry (CY) with a score of 91.67, while Mihir Dev Choudhary achieved a score of 70 in Economics (EN).

Farheen Naaz attained a score of 85.33 in Geology (GG). Sarthak Yash Sethi scored top rank in Mathematics (MA) with a score of 57.33. Bishwaan Ghosh topped in Mathematical Statistics (MS) with a score of 93.33. Lastly, in Physics (PH), Indurekha Kundu secured a score of 84.33.

JAM Scores are used for admission to programs such as MSc, MSc (Tech), MS Research, MSc-MTech Dual Degree, Joint MSc– PhD, MSc-PhD Dual Degree in various institutes. JAM 2024 Scores will be used for admission to over 2000 seats. The examination was conducted in around 100 cities in India.
